Getting started
Tracking time
- TimerWith the timer on the Overview you record working time live: choose a project, start, stop.
- Live Activity & notificationsWhile the timer is running, you see it on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island – and can stop it from there.
- Time entriesYou add times afterwards, correct them, add breaks and comments – and see where you worked.
- Booking listsYou find all recorded times in three lists – from a quick look at your latest bookings to the full, searchable list.
- CalendarThe calendar shows your times in a time grid – optionally together with your iOS events, holidays and absences.
Projects & planning
- ProjectsProjects group your times per job – with client, colour, hourly rate and the rule for how time is billed.
- Work ProfileIn the work profile you set on which days you work and for how many hours. Timenor uses this to calculate your target hours and balance.
- HolidaysTimenor automatically takes the public holidays of your region into account. You add your own days off yourself.
- AbsencesYou record vacation, sickness, training and other absences as full days, half days or by the hour. They are credited against your target hours.
Analyse & export
- Figures on the OverviewThe Overview answers at a glance: how much have I worked today, this week and this month – and what is my balance?
- AnalyticsAnalytics summarises hours, balances, vacation, projects and revenue for any period.
- How Timenor calculatesThis page explains exactly how Timenor calculates duration, rounding, target hours, credits and balances.
- ExportWith Timenor Pro you export your times as a PDF work time report or as a CSV file for Excel, Numbers and accounting.
Settings & data
- SettingsUnder “More” you can adapt Timenor: personal data, vacation and initial balances, reminders, location, appearance and language.
- BackupIf you wish, Timenor backs up your data automatically to iCloud and as a file – and restores it with just a few taps.
- Privacy & permissionsYour times belong to you: Timenor stores everything on your iPhone and optionally in your own iCloud Drive.
