Select projects #

Under “Projects”, use “Project Assignment” to set which bookings go into the export and how they are structured:

  • All Projects Individually – all bookings, split by project, with a total per project and a project overview.
  • Selected Projects – a switch for each project; only these projects, also split. Bookings without a project are not included.
  • All Merged – all bookings in one chronological list, without splitting by project.

Carry-over and options #

  • Carry-over from Previous Month (PDF): With “Include carry-over”, the PDF report takes over the balance of the previous months. If you turn it off, Timenor remembers this for that month.
  • Time Value: “Raw Time” or “Billed Time” determines the working time column and the totals. Target, actual and balance in the PDF are always calculated with raw time.
  • Include Absences: The PDF shows absences, vacation booked, and vacation and sick days; the CSV gets its own “Absences” section. The credit in the balance is always kept.
  • Include Comments and Include Location Data: as columns in the CSV, and in the PDF on a separate “Comments and locations” page.

The PDF report #

The “Work Time Report” PDF in A4 landscape contains:

  • A header with the month and your personal data (from More › Personal Data).
  • Working time figures: target working time per week (sum of your working days) and per day (average), working days in the month, vacation, carry-over.
  • One row per day with bookings (time and project), break, “Work time” (with “Billed Time”: “Billable”) and absence; weekends and holidays are marked.
  • The monthly summary with target, actual, “Credit for holidays and absences”, monthly balance, vacation and sick days, and the cumulative balance; with “Billed Time” also “Billable total”.
  • On a further page, the “Project overview” with entries, raw time and billable time per project (not with “All Merged”) and – with the options – “Comments and locations”.

The CSV file #

The CSV file (“CSV/Excel”) is separated by semicolons and UTF-8 encoded. Excel and Numbers open it directly. There is one row per booking with date, weekday, project, client, start and end time, break and one duration – “Raw time” or “Billable” (then with “Billing mode”).

When split by project, each project is followed by a “Total …” row; at the end come the grand total, a project summary and – with the option – the absences. The column names follow the app language.

Save and send #

After “Create Export”, the iOS share sheet opens. Save the file to the Files app, send it by email or AirDrop, or open it in another app.

The files are named “TimeReport_YYYY-MM.pdf” and “Timesheet_YYYY-MM.csv” – with the month in which the export period starts.
