Tracking time
Live Activity & notifications
While the timer is running, you see it on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island – and can stop it from there.
On the Lock Screen #
As soon as you start a timer, Timenor creates a Live Activity. It shows the project colour, project name, start time and elapsed time. The start time appears as “since 08:30”.
Use the red stop button to end the recording directly, without opening the app. If you tap the Live Activity itself, Timenor opens the running entry.
In the Dynamic Island #
On iPhones with a Dynamic Island, Timenor shows a timer icon in the project colour on the left and the elapsed time on the right.
Touch and hold the Dynamic Island to expand it: you see the project and comment, and can jump into the app with “Open” or end the recording with “Stop”.
Reminder for long sessions #
If a timer runs longer than set (default: 8 hours), Timenor reminds you with the notification “⏰ Long Session – project name”. Tap it to open the entry and correct the end time.
You set the threshold under More › Time Tracking › “Long Session Warning” (1 to 24 hours), or turn the reminder off there.
Notification for an automatically stopped timer #
If you have turned on “Stop timer automatically”, Timenor reports “⏹ Timer ended – project name” as soon as the set duration is reached. Tap the notification to review the entry.
